In late 1980 amidst of the Iranian Revolution, Dr. Zari escaped the turmoil of the civil war by immigrating to the United States where she continued her education and enjoyed the American ideals of freedom of speech and women’s rights.  With more than 25 years experience, Dr. Zari is a licensed psychologist, drug and alcohol counselor and hypnotherapist for children and the adults who interface with children.  She provides approaches to enable children and young adults to find their own strengths and make decisions that are in their best interests as well as approaches for the teachers, counselors and parents that will encourage children, support their sobriety and formal education.
